Phase transformation features in Ti3Al+TiAl doped Nb alloy during heat treatment and ion irradiation
- 1. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst., Almaty (Kazakhstan)
Description
Features of the metastable phase states in Ti3Al+TiAl alloy, doped by niobium (2 at. %), are studied under heat treatment and ion irradiation. It is found that the disordered α phase with the face-centered cubic lattice is produced in the alloy during quenching from 1300 deg C and after ion irradiation (Ti+, 60 keV). It is shown that the structural transformations, stimulated by irradiation, depend on the initial state of the alloy and on the morphology of the phase components
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
