Some results from neutrino experiments at CERN
Description
A review is given of all neutral current results obtained by the Gargamelle and Aachen-Padua collaborations working in the neutrino/antineutrino beam from the CERN proton synchrotron (PS). There seems to be evidence that the neutral current space-time structure is not pure S, P, T, V or A. A V, A structure is favoured, although experiments differ on the (V - A) to (V + A) admixture required. Interpretation of the results in terms of the Salam-Ward-Weinberg hypothesis leads to the conclusion that all data so far obtained in these experiments are consistent with a value of approximately 1/3 for sin2thetasub(w).
