Measurement of some charm particle decay branching ratios
Creators
Description
Charm data obtained by the NA27 experiment at CERN in 360GeV/cπ-p and 400GeV/c pp interactions are used to give results on D meson branching ratios. The experiment made use of the European Hybrid Spectrometer, incorporating a high resolution hydrogen bubble chamber (LEBC) which enabled spatial resolution of charm particle decays, and a dE/dx sampling detector (ISIS) which provided high-quality charge particle identification. The analysis is based on 440 events containing visible charm decays. (author)
