Description
The Symposium on 'Environmental Degradation of Materials and Corrosion Control' is one of the symposia of 38th Annual Conference of Metallurgists held in Quebec City, Canada on August 22-26, 1999. Two plenary Keynote presentations concerning cost effectiveness performance reliability and the revolutionary information systems in the field of corrosion are given in Chapter one respectively. Chapter two includes the sessions concerning the corrosion behavior, inhibition and protection of Aluminum and Magnesium Alloys. Chapters three and four concern the process industries (inhibition and protection) and stress corrosion cracking respectively. Chapters five and six describes some monitoring systems and the performance of certain coatings consecutively
