General structure of polarization state of a nucleon produced in the d(e,l'p)n reaction

Description

The polarization phenomena in the process of the deuteron electrodisintegration (ed → epn) - have been investigated in the one-photon approximation framework. The γ*d → np reaction mechanism (γ is the virtual photon) was not concretized. Only conservation of the γ*d → pn electromagnetic transition current and the fact that the deuteron spin is egual to one were used. It has been considered the general case of the arbitrarily polarized deuteron disintegrated by the longitudinally polarized electron beam simultaneously with measuring of the arising proton polarisation. The formulas for the structure functions describing the polarization phenomena of the investigated reaction have been found in the terms of the γ*d → np reaction scalar amplitudes
