Description
The design and performance is described of an optical instrument for neutrons of wavelengths larger than 1.2 nm, containing cylindrical neutron lenses and multislits. The achromatic optics resemble a slide projector with a magnification of one, and will be used in a neutron beam deflection experiment aimed at reducing the upper limit of a possible electric charge of the free neutron.
