Pattern recognition techniques in sodium cooled fast breeder reactor's acoustic signal analysis

Description

The application of statistical pattern recognition methods in Liquid Metal Fast Breeder Reactors surveillance is exposed. The study of the acoustic behaviour of the sodium gives encouraging results as well in 'in situ' experiment as in simulation test loop. This work is supported by the Fast Reactor Department (DRNR) of the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique (French Atomic Energy)
