Reaction cross sections for solar neutrinos with P-shell nuclei targets
Description
Reaction cross sections of a neutrino on nuclei 7Li, 9Be, 11B, 13C and 15N are calculated. We use an effective one-body operator which incorporates the many-body effects to calculate the Gamow-Teller matrix element. It is shown that these nuclei are sufficiently sensitive for not only charged-, but also neutral-current induced reactions. Especially a possibility of detecting the neutral-current which is important to solve the solar neutrino problem is discussed. (author)
