Electrophysical properties of Zr-Ti and Zr-Hf alloys
Creators
Description
Given are the test results of the concentration dependence of magnetic susceptibility, chi, the Hall coefficient, R, resistivity, rho, the thermal m.f. of the α-alloys ZrTi and ZrHf as well as rho and α in the temperature range from 100 to 1300 K. Different signs have been found for the thermal m.f. and the Hall coefficients in Zr-Ti alloys, and also the character of the concentration dependences of R and α for the Zr-Hf alloys indicate the existence of the electron-hole character of conductance. The variation of R and α in the Zr-Ti alloy with increasing concentration of the second component both for Zr and for Ti corresponds to the increased electronic contribution to the transfer processes. The temperature variation of the resistivity and the thermal m.f. coefficient is attributed to the increase of the imposition of the Fermi surface on the Brilluin band
