Neutron activation analysis of uranium by means of electrochemical etching of tracks in lavsane detector

Description
Technique of electrochemical etching of tracks of fragments in lavsane has been improved to use it for uranium analysis in samples. Using statistical method of experiment planning, an equation, describing the dependence of the fission fragment track diameters on parameters of the etching process, is obtained. By means of electrochemical etching neutron-activation analyses of certain samples for uranium are made with the sensitivity of 10-7-10-8 g/g
