Study of ISM-S sorbent and tests of sorption technology based on it of purification of water of cooling ponds from 90 at PO Mayak

Description
The most perspective for 90Sr sorption oxyhydrate sorbent ISM-S and its analog ISM-SP are investigated in static and dynamic conditions. Optimal ph intervals for sorption (ph 6-10) and desorption (ph<1.2) of strontium, full exchange capacities of the sorbents and dependences of strontium sorption degree on concentration of background electrolytes are determined. Limiting stage of sorption process, ion exchange rate constant, and diffusion coefficients, calculated and experimental half-times of exchange are determined. Optimal productivity of ion exchange apparatus is proposed. Tests of sorption technology of purification of water of cooling ponds at PO Mayak from 90 are made
Abstract (Russian)
В статических и динамических условиях исследован наиболее перспективный для сорбции 90Sr оксигидратный сорбент марки ИСМ-S и его аналог ИСМ-SП. Определены оптимальные интервалы ph для сорбции (ph 6-10) и десорбции (ph<1.2) стронция, полные обменные емкости различных форм сорбента, а также зависимости степени сорбции стронция от концентрации фоновых электролитов. Определены лимитирующая стадия процесса сорбции, константы скорости ионного обмена, коэффициенты диффузии, расчетные и экспериментальные периоды полуобмена. Предложена оптимальная производительность ионообменного аппарата. Проведены стендовые испытания сорбционной технологии очистки воды водоема-накопителя от 90SrAdditional details
