Reliability of electrochemical determination of tendency of stainless steels to intergranular corrosion
Description
Electrochemical investigations of the tendency to intergranular corrosion (IGC) of 12Kh18N10T and 12Kh17G9AN4 in HNO3+NaF solutions are performed. It is shown that for electrochemical determination of the tendency to IGC of 12Kh18N10T and 12Kh17G9AN4 thin sheet steels one may recommend the nitric-fluoride electrolytes, compositions 4-6n. HNO3+5-10 g/l NaF and 5nHNO3+10 g/l NaF+0.5-1n. NaOH, respectively
