Description
Various imaging techniques as well as a variety of contrast media will be discussed with respect to their applicability and value for contrast-enhanced MR angiography of the pelvic and leg arteries. A survey is given of data and results achieved with recent clinical trials. The quality requirements and the quality standards defined for MRA are explained, and the prospects of contrast-enhanced MR angiography will be assessed. (orig./CB)

Fuer die KM-gestuetzte MRA der Becken- und Beinarterien werden verschiedene technische Ansaetze und verschiedene Kontrastmittelkonzepte dargestellt. Daran schliesst sich ein Ueberblick ueber die aktuellen Daten klinischer Studien und die klinische Relevanz der Untersuchung an. Schliesslich werden die Qualitaetsanforderungen und abschliessend die Perspektiven der KM-gestuetzten MRA genannt. (orig.)Additional details
