The subtle art of litigation proceedings
Creators
Description
The anti wind power people launch numerous court procedures against the settlement of wind farms but only a few succeed usually. The rate of legal actions does not vary over time, it concerns about half of the authorized projects. 54% of the construction licences that have been cancelled, were due to defects in form or in procedure. In fine only 5% of the cancellations were definitively cancelled, mainly for damaging the landscape. The excess of legal proceedings delays the project by adding 1 to 2 years. (A.C.)
