High-temperature piping in coal upgrading plant - operating experience with a pilot plant for coal gasification

Description
An account is given of operating experience gained from a gasification plant in more than 25,000 hours. Over that period, the coal throughput of the plant, which is operated within the temperature range of from 500 to 9500C, amounted to some 2350 metric tons. A report is given of the development steps that had to be taken to arrive at a trouble-free steady-state operation. (orig.)

Es wird ueber Betriebserfahrungen berichtet, die in mehr als 25000 Stunden an einer Vergasungsanlage gewonnen wurden. In dieser Zeit betrug der Kohledurchsatz der Anlage, die im Temperaturbereich von 500 bis 9500C betrieben wird, rund 2350 t. Es wird ueber die Entwicklungsschritte berichtet, die zum Erreichen des stoerungsfreien stationaeren Betriebes getan werden mussten. (orig.)Additional details
