Description

We study the creation of charged scalar massive particles in a three-dimensional cavity with a moving wall. Using the Schroedinger picture, we calculate the average number of produced pairs, and the Casimir energy. We also discuss the divergent terms that appear in our calculations. Finally, we present a model that includes the back reaction of the field, and that may be used to remove the divergent terms
