Neutron powder diffraction study of tantalum tungstate, Ta2WO8
Description
Ta2WO8, orthorhombic, Pbcm, a = 3.8762 (2), b = 17.716 (1), c = 16.684 (1) A. The structure was studied by profile analysis. Contrary to previous conclusions based on X-ray diffraction data, it was found that the compound crystallizes with the symmetry of space group Pbcm and is isostructural with Nb2WO8. (Auth.)
