Guide for quality assurance auditing of nuclear power plants

Electric technique quidelines are drawn up for the things, of which the provision is desirable for ensuring the safety, but it is difficult to make the provision immediately. This guideline shows the fundamentals of the inspection carried out for confirming the state of executing a quality assurance program and its effectiveness based on the ''Guideline for quality assurance in nuclear power stations'' (JEAG 4101-1985). This quideline prescribes general requirement and recommendation when the methods of internal inspection and external inspection in respective stages from the design to the operation of nuclear power stations are established and executed. All the organizations which exert influence on the quality shall determine the methods to carry out internal inspection and external inspection. Inspection organizations shall establish the internal approval or registration system for inspectors. Responsibility, inspectors, the management of inspection, the time and frequency of executing inspection, the activities before inspection, the execution of inspection, the activities after inspection and records are prescribed.
