Sensitivity of neutron combined albedo-track personnel dosemeters behind the IHEP proton synchrotron shield
Description
The comparison of experimental and calculated data on the sensitivity of combined neutron dosemeters on the basis of fission nuclies behind the IHEP proton synchrotron shield, is made. The results obtained confirm the possibility of using the calculated detector sensitivity functions and the methods developed on their basis for indication interpretation when forecasting combined dosemeter behaviour in different neutron fields and designing new variants of personnel dosemeters. It is shown that such dosemeters on the fission nuclide basis have low dose sensitivity spread behind the IHEP proton synchrotron shield, which indicates good prospects for their application in the personnel neutron dosimetry at high energy accelerators
