Description
Data on U(IV) distribution between aqueous nitric acid and 30% TBP/n-dodecane biphasic system has been analysed. An empirical model is developed for predicting the U(IV) distribution coefficients at 25 deg C and 30% TBP concentration. Performance of this model has been compared with one earlier published model. For the larger data set used in these computations, it was observed that model predicted data with a standard deviation of the order of 103%. With the same data set, model reported in this work has a standard deviation of 0.2709
