Nuclear Constants

Description

Full text follows: The fast neutron program is directed toward the study of neutron cross sections that are useful in calculations of the breeding gain of fast reactors, and toward the use of the data to test theories of nuclear reactions. Of particular importance are (1) capture cross sections of structural and control materials; (2) capture and fission cross sections of fissile and fertile species; and (3) neutron inelastic scattering cross sections. In the present program, several of the .above types of reactions are under investigation. Current progress is reported below.
