Description
In recent years, X-ray CT apparatus has been applied clinically as Spectrum Shaping technology using tin filter has appeared as a new exposure reduction technique. In this study, the depth dose distribution inside the phantom was measured using a CTDI measurement phantom. Measurement using a tin filter showed lower measured values at any depth compared with other conditions. As a result, X-ray examination using a tin filter was considered to be effective for reducing patient exposure dose. (author)
