On the calculation of critical cooling velocity of liquid metals during production of amorphous structures

Description
Rough assumption on equality of homogeneous conditions of nucleus formation for all metals and alloys is accepted presently by calculating critical velocity for liquid metals cooling. It is proposed hereby to take into account the type of chemical bond (energy) between atoms of various metals by means of calculation of free energy change by homogeneous nucleus formation of critical size for each metal
