Moessbauer effect studies on sources of sup(129m)Te implanted in iron and nickel

Description
Moessbauer effect studies of room-temperature implanted sources have revealed the presence of several inequivalent sites in a number of cases but studies on sources of sup(129m)Te in Fe and Ni so far have been consistent with only one site. In agreement with channeling measurements on Te in Fe this site was interpreted as substitutional. Measurements are now reported with improved statistics, that reveal the existence of more than one site for room temperature implants of tellurium in Fe and Ni. The annealing behaviour of these implants was studied. (Auth.)
