Magnetic study of the Fe-Co-Nb μ and Nbss phases

Description
The phases μ (Fe1-xCox)Nb and Nbss (Nb dissolving a little amount of Fe1-xCox) were found in (Fe1-xCox)1-yNby alloys, with x=0.0; 0.25; 0.50; 0.75; 1.0 and y=0.50; 0.67. The magnetic features were determined by using Moessbauer and VSM analyses. The magnetic behavior of μ was related to the Co atomic sites occupation
