High spin level structure in 127Ba produced by the 118Sn(12C, 3n) reaction
Description
High-spin states in 127Ba have been produced by the reaction 118Sn(12C, 3n)127Ba and studied by in-beam γ-ray spectroscopic techniques. The odd-parity states form a level system based upon a 9/2-state and generated by an odd neutron in the h(11/2) shell coupled to a triaxial core. The g(7/2) shell is responsible for the ΔI=1, even-parity band. (orig.)

High-Spin-Zustaende in 127Ba wurden durch die Reaktion 118Sn(12C, 3n)127Ba erzeugt und durch in-beam Gamma-Spektroskopie untersucht. Die Zustaende mit ungerader Paritaet bilden ein Niveaux-System ueber dem 9/2-Zustand und werden durch ein ungerades Neutron in der h(11/2) Schale gekoppelt mit einem triaxial core erzeugt. Die g(7/2) Schale ist fuer das ΔI=1 Band mit gerader Paritaet verantwortlich. (orig.)Additional details
