Nuclear reaction cross sections studied with heavy-ion beams
- 1. Osaka Univ., Graduate School of Science, Toyonaka, Osaka (Japan)
- 2. RIKEN, Wako, Saitama (Japan)
Description
Reaction cross sections for stable and unstable nuclei 3H, 3He, 4He, 10B, 10Be, 11Be, and 12C on CH2, Be, C and Al targets have been measured at 30 A - 360 A MeV in order to study the nucleon density distributions in these nuclei. The transmission method was employed using plastic, PPAC, Si, NaI(Tl), CsI(Na), and CsI(Tl) counters. (author)
