Effect of substitution of vanadium for Cu on superconducting properties of Gd 123

Description
Electrical and magnetic properties of GdBa2Cu3-xVxO7-δ with x=0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.3 has been studied. Transition temperature Tc has been dropped from 85.82degreeK for x=0 to 26.35degreeK for x=0.3 which reflects the strong effect of this doping on superconductivity of this phase. The temperature dependence of resistivity and effect of magnetic field has been discussed.
