Prospecting progress and prospective analysis of uranium deposit in Xiangshan ore field

Description

A great breakthrough of ore prospecting has been made in the western and northern areas of Xiangshan ore field in recent years. In order to further summarize the prospecting results and raise the geological understand-ing, it is proposed that there are two main occurrence types such as 'Zoujiashan pattern' and 'Julongan pattern' uranium deposits in western Xiangshan. Researches show that fracture fissure systems derived from NE-striking regional deep faults and the variation of interfacial interface between volcanic rocks are main metallogenic structural planes of uranium deposits in Xiangshan area through analyzing achievements of geological prospecting and scientific research obtained in recent years in Xiangshan area, especially enlightened from ore-finding breakthrough achieved in western Xiangshan. Furthermore, metallogenic prospect zones are divided and next step ore-finding breakthrough directions are pointed out on the basis of a further summarizing uranium metallogenic regularities in Xiangshan area.
