Water-cooled solenoid of the KS-250 combined magnetic system

The construction and basic specifications of a water-cooled solenoid which sets up a stationary magnetic field with the induction force of 17.5 T in the operating channel dia. 3 cm are described. The solenoid is intended for use in the KS-250 combined magnetic system, which generates a field of 25 T. Besides, the solenoid can be used separately
