France in the G8 Global Partnership against the spread of weapons and materials of mass destruction. Agenda item 6d (Presentation in Russian)

In 2005, France presented priorities for its efforts in the Global Partnership initiative. Among the priority works in the Russian Northwest, there are following projects: • Financial contribution to the Northern Dimension Environmental Partnership – 40m Euro. • Decommissioning of the Lepse nuclear service ship. • Spent nuclear fuel management at Gremikha, a former Navy base. • Radioactive waste management at the Zvezdochka shipyard. • Decommissioning of Russian Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generators. The management scheme of Russian-French cooperation effort is provided.
