Corrosion control in nuclear fuel reprocessing plants
Description
The paper concerns an integrated corrosion engineering approach to identify and minimise corrosion problems in an irradiated fuel reprocessing plant. The corrosion process, corrosion in reprocessing plants, fuel receipt and storage, fuel breakdown in dissolution, solvent extraction and product concentration, and waste management, are all discussed.
