Polygenic uranium deposits in carbonaceous-siliceous schists in central Kyzylkums and perspectives of their prospecting

Geostructural features of the main morphological types of uranium deposits in ancient carbonaceous-siliceous schists are described and prospecting criteria are elaborated on the data of prospecting works conducted by SGE 'Kyzyltepageologiya'. Potential ore-bearing fields have been determined. The main trends in prospecting of uranium deposits in rocks of a folded basement, particularly near the margin with Mesozoic-Cenozoic depositions, have been laid out. (author). 11 refs.; 3 figs
