Effect of non-uniforming of electron beam on electron-stimulated desorption characteristics

Description
A dependence of total cross-section of electron-stimulated desorption (ESD) on non-uniformity of irradiating electron flux is considered for the system linear source of electrons - flat target, positioned symmetrically to normal, restored from the target plane to the electron source. It is shown that at measuring characteristics of the ESD process, in particular, characteristics of electron-stimulated processes, running on thesurface, the account of non-uniformity of electron flux irradiating the surface is necessary
