Description
Nuclear energy can provide power with low emission of greenhouse gases next to wind and solar energy. But it is hindered by public fears of long lived radioactive wastes. However, Molten Salt Reactor (MSR) has potential to solve many of today's energy related problems and can operate safely to alleviate fears of public for nuclear energy. This study has been focused on synthesis and characterization of fluoroapatite, Ca5(PO4)3F(S) and determination of its heat capacities which is important to determine its temperature raise due to radioactive heat
