An on-line alpha-particle identifying method

Description

Alpha-particles from neutron-induced nuclear reactions are discriminated from other charged particles by measuring their energy losses within two proportional counters and by measuring their residual energies by means of a surface barrier detector. A method to identify alpha-particles is described. (Auth.)
