Description
A review of the findings of an investigation into electric field, mechanical stresses and temperature gradients effect on the processes of domain structure rearrangement and phase transitions in ferroelastic crystals was presented. Lead orthophosphate, gadolinium molybdate, sodium trihydroselenite and bismuth titanate monocrystals were chosen as objects of the investigation. Gadolinium molybdate monocrystals refers to absolute mixed ferroelectrics - ferroelastics because of this the swithing processes induced by the electric fields and mechanical stresses are equal
