Description
Scintigraphy of the stomach with sup(99m)TC pertechnetate indicates the distribution of gastric tissue showing uptake of this substance. One case is described showing that heterotopic gastric mucosa in the oesophagus, as occurs in the so-called Barrett syndrome, can be demonstrated in this way. The examination can be performed rapidly and easily without trouble to the patient. (orig.)

Die Szintigraphie des Magens mit sup(99m)Tc-Pertechnetat gibt Aufschluss ueber die topographische Verteilung speicherfaehigen Magengewebes. An einem Fallbeispiel wird aufgezeichnet, dass in gleicher Weise heterotope Magenschleimhaut, wie sie beim sogenannten Barrettsyndrom im Oesophagus beschrieben wird, sicher nachweisbar ist. Diese Untersuchung laesst sich schnell und leicht ohne grosse Belaestigung des Patienten durchfuehren. (orig.)Additional details
