Parton model interpretation of higher order QCD predictions for e+e- → hadron + X and e-h → e- + X
Description
The next-to-leading effects of QCD for the fragmentation functions in e+e- → H+X inclusive annihilation are completely determined. Numerical integration of the Altarelli-Parisi evolution equation shows that the higher-order effects are more important for fragmentation functions than for the structure functions of deep inelastic scattering
