Jet theory at Santa Barbara
Description
I discuss two of the topics that were investigated at the program on Quantum Chromodynamics and its Applications, held this spring at the Institute for Theoretical Physics, Santa Barbara. One topic is the amount of soft hadronic debris produced in high energy hadron collisions in events containing hard interactions. The other is the cross section for producing one jet plus anything in high energy hadron collisions
