Coating masses to be hardened by ionizing radiation
Description
A coating mass hardenable by energy-rich radiation is described. It contains a binder of unsaturated polyester and vinyl-monomers and further additions where given. In 100 parts binder, 40 to 90 parts consist of unsaturated polyester whose unsaturated, radical polymerizable group is in α,β position to the carbonyl group, 60 to 10 parts of polymerizable monomers. The 'monomer' itself is made up of 80 to 100 wt.% alkoxy-alkyl ester of the acryl/methacryl acid or its mixture with one of its hydroxy-alcyl ester and 0-10 wt.% other polymerizable monomers. (HK)

Es wird eine durch energiereiche Strahlung haertbare Ueberzugsmasse beschrieben. Sie enthaelt ein Bindemittel aus ungesaettigten Polyestern und Vinylmonomeren und gegebenenfalls weitere Zusaetze. Von 100 Teilen des Bindemittels bestehen 40 bis 90 Teile aus ungesaettigten Polyester, dessen ungesaettigte, radikalische polymerisierbare Gruppe in α,β-Stellung zur Carbonylgruppe stehen, 60 bis 10 Teile aus polymerisierbarem Monomeren. Das 'Monomere' wiederum sind 80 bis 100 Gewichts-% Alkoxyalkylester der Acryl/Methacryl-saeure oder deren Gemisch mit einem ihrer Hydroxyalkylester und 0 bis 20 Gewichts-% andere polimerisierbare Monomere.
