Nuclei far from stability. Three excursions to the rim
Description
The study of radioactive nuclei, their structure and decay modes, is a 20th Century endeavor. Three topics of special interest to the author, a chemist by training, are reviewed. An exciting future for nuclear structure research in the next Millenium is foreseen. (author)
