A CAMAC based fast decision module
- 1. National Superconducting Cyclotron Lab. and Dept. of Physics and Astronomy, Michigan State Univ., East Lansing, MI (United States)
Description
A high speed decision module based on a 1 Mbit memory array was designed and built with full CAMAC functionality. The module has 16 bits of ECL output and 1 programmable ECL output designed to act as a gate. Both the memory and functionality are programmable via CAMAC commands. The module can function as either a high speed look-up table or as a logic array. Tests show that ECL output can be generated in 35 ns and gate output in 65 ns. (orig.)
