Laser-spectroscopy measurments of nuclear charge radii

Description

Experimental data on the differences of the charge radii in ground and isomer states are reviewed. The data were obtained by laser-spectroscopy methods. The relationship between the changes of the mean-square charge radii and the quadrupole deformation parameters is analyzed. The experimental data are compared with calculations made in various models (droplet model and others). 82 refs., 26 figs., 6 tabs
