Influence of ionole on the development of radiation damage to the mouse intestine

Description
Ionole administered to mice after they have been exposed to 1000 r causes a considerable decrease in the formation of lipid peroxides in the small intestine tissue, promotes a better retention and a faster restitution of the intestinal structure, and prolongs the average life of irradiated mice
