Description
The results are summed up of measuring 90Sr concentration in gaseous effluents of two WWER-440 reactors in the V-1 nuclear power plant at Jaslovske Bohunice, for the years 1985-1987. Samples were taken from air filters in the stack. Aerosol particles had been cumulating in the filters for two to seven days. The sample beta activity was measured using an Intertechnique RA 12 low-background anticoincidence counter. The 90Sr concentrations in the period under study ranged between 6.7 and 483.0 μBq/m3. The total annual 90Sr discharges in the years 1985-1987 showed the following values: 427.6, 448.8 and 126.6, respectively. (Z.M.). 3 tabs., 6 refs
