Nuclear station achievement - 1. quarter 1980

Description
The achievements of the commissioned nuclear reactors of 150 MWe gross, and above, in the Western World, during the first quarter of 1980 are compared and trends are established. Moving annual and cumulative load factors are tabulated, and comparisons made of the performance of Magnox, BWR, PWR and PHWR types. Output weighted average annual load factors are also compared for the four types of station. Figures reflect the better achievement of larger output stations. (UK)
