Development of the method of the preparation of albumin microspheres labelled 188-rhenium

The basis of effective and wide usage of radioisotope methods in diagnostic and therapy of tumoral and not tumoral diseases is development of new radiopharmaceuticals, described by high functional value and safety. The efficiency and safety of radiopharmaceuticals are defined by the nuclear - physical characteristics of radionuclides, and also physicochemical and biological properties of carriers for selective delivery of radionuclides. Therefore an important direction in radiopharmacy is the search, the development and estimation of particular properties radiopharmaceuticals for radiotherapy of tumoral and not tumoral diseases, where the main thing is the choice of optimal carriers and radionuclides. At present time two types of carriers are used for delivery radionuclides: soluble preparations and insoluble so-called microparticles. (authors)
