Algebraic expressions for effective potential parameters in heavy ion collision
Creators
- 1. Dept. of Physics, North Eastern Hill University, Shillong (India)
Description
Accurate expressions for the barrier position RBl and pocket position RMl for the effective heavy ion interaction Ueff(r,l) in the lth partial wave described by Woods-Saxon type nuclear part characterised by strength, range and diffuseness parameters UR, R and α respectively are derived. The Coulomb radius parameter is denoted by Rc and reduced mass by m respectively of the two colliding nuclei with mass numbers A1 and A2 and having proton numbers Z1 and Z2 respectively
