Description

Off-gas treatment system for Tokai No. 2 Nuclear Power Station of BWR type consists of an air ejector, a re-combiner, an off-gas condenser, a monitor, an attenuation piping for 30 minutes holding two, prefilters (HEPA type), two pre-dehumidifiers, two post-dehumidifiers, two mesh filters, active carbon belts (eighteen units arranged in series) two post-filters, two air ejectors and an exhaust stack. The design specifications are as follows, off-gas flow rate is 40 Nm3/hr, and holding time is 27 days for Xe and 40 hours for Kr, respectively. Off-gas treatment and rare gas holdup system for Tsuruga Nuclear Power Station of BWR type consists of an air ejector, two recombiners, a cooler, two compressors, two attenuation tanks, rare gas holdup system (comprising two precoolers, two sandfilters, two post-coolers charcoal beds of eight columns arranged in series, and two charcoal bed air ejectors, an absolute filter and an exhaust stack. The design specifications are as follows, off-gas flow rate is 20 Nm3/hr, and holding time is 20 days for Xe and 28 hours for Kr. (Iwase, T.)
